Product Description

Sun Shield Sport from Green Bear UK is a unique 100% all-natural sunblock formula that is water resistant, making it ideal for the active person. The Caribbean Blue sunscreen resists run-off from heavy perspiration and swimming, allowing continuous protection. Our suncream protection in most cases will also help prevent prickly heat rash and help filter out and protect against UVA & UVB sun rays.

Instead of synthetic chemical ingredients, it contains natural zinc oxide (non Nano) to soothe and protect the skin in a new patented transparent form called Z-cote. Zinc oxide is the only ingredient that is FDA-recognised as having both UVB and UVA broadest-spectrum protection, as well as having therapeutic benefits.

Natural tropical oils, botanical extracts, anti-oxidant vitamins, and pure essential oils are used for this completely natural, hypo-allergenic formula that protects, moisturises and soothes the skin.

Caribbean Blue Sunscreen is formulated using the latest scientific research findings and information on sun protection noting that UVB rays are mostly involved with sunburns, while the deeper penetrating UVA rays are involved with premature aging, wrinkling and even skin cancers....

Application Tip. Dry your skin with a towel first to remove any sweat or water. This is thicker than normal chemical sunscreens because of its natural mineral ingredients, so when applying to your dry skin, work onto the skin evenly for safe protection.

Size: 120ml
Aqua (water), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Zinc oxide (Zinc oxide non-nano), Emulsifying Wax NF vegetable-derived, Echinacea purpurea (Purple coneflower) Extract, Aesculus hippocastanum (Horsechestnut) Extract, Sesamum indicum, (Sesame) Seed Oil, Glycerin (Glycerin vegetable-derived), Mangifera indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Geogard* (Sodium benzoate and Gluconolactone from non-GMO corn), Xanthan gum (Xanthan gum), Lavandula officinalis (Lavender) Oil, d-alpha Tocopherol (natural Vitamin E).** ECOCERT certified

Great for higher level protection and water sports
Tuesday, 27 June 2017  |

Used before and gives good protection particularly during water activities.
I do a lot of walking so use on high exposure areas and if sweating will not be easily removed. The lower factor 15 is then suitable for other areas or when not so sunny.
I have sensitive skin, dislike chemicals and prefer not to put anything other than natural products on.
The whitish cream takes extra time to apply but does dissipate. I rarely burn if use the correct way and take care in the Sun as advised.
Keeping in the fridge maintains freshness and keeps longer. The new tubes seem easier to use and probably able to use all the product.
A little costly but well worth it for this natural product.

I have used this product for the last 2 years in Israel and Egypt in temps of high 30's.. when the sun cream is warmed a little it spreads a lot easier..OK it does stay a little white on the skin..but better that and be protected and not burned...would recommend to all..and O wouldn't use anything else now

The best sunscreen ever
Sunday, 15 June 2014  |

After the birth of my son I realized that our skin is our biggest organ, and I wouldn’t put anything on his skin which is not of the highest quality on the market. Searching for the best sunscreen took me 2 weeks. Then I found Caribbean Blue as the only one not containing titan dioxide and nano particles. We used it for 2 years until we moved to Germany where all the products contain titan dioxide. I bought a couple of organic sunshields for my son thinking that we have to buy locally and not import from the UK. I was wrong. First of all he had a rush after being rubbed with both of the products. Secondly, I still didn’t like the idea using anything non-organic and containing titan dioxide. In the end I ordered a couple of bottles of Caribbean Blue for us and friends again. A few weeks ago one of the mums at our nursery read an article about aluminum in all sunscreens and deodorants. She checked all the organic sunscreens realizing that aluminum is in all of them too. Caribbean Blue doesn’t contain aluminum either. I can only recommend this product and also the baby version to anyone concerned about their and their children’ health.
