Care of your Bamboo towels
It is advised to launder before use; our towels come to you straight from the Loom, and it is essential that they are laundered before use, as they have not been subjected to any wet processes like other toweling, such as scouring, bleaching, etc., after weaving. Wash only on a 30C delicate wash. Naturally dry, tumble dry on low heat setting if required. Expect some shrinkage, on the first wash as this is a natural product. Even in the washing process, Bamboo is very Eco friendly, saving money on a low temperature wash.
These towels are 100% bamboo fibre pile on a cotton backing. This combination gives the most durable and maximising the weaving properties.
We do not recommend using fabric conditioner on any of our bamboo textile ranges as they reduce the benefits of the bamboo as outlined in “product info”, also tending to block-up the mico holes in the fibres leading to reduced absorbency.
Biodegradable
At the end of their useful life, the fibres will naturally decompose when exposed to sunlight. Our Eco bamboo towels can actually be composted and disintegrate completely into the earth.
